Community joins Toys for Tots to bring Christmas to Lancaster children

A united volunteer effort will help to make Christmas morning a little merrier for thousands of children.

For the first time, Toys for Tots will have a presence in Lancaster County, according to coordinator John C. Seltzer.

Seltzer, who serves as pastor at Corrottoman Baptist Church, recently announced Toys for Tots has partnered with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Santa program, Kiwanis Club of the Northern Neck, Northern Neck Marine Corps League Detachment #1062 and Lancaster County Public Schools to collect and distribute toys to qualifying children in Lancaster County.
