The Christchurch School robotics team recently started its season of competition and will travel to meets in Richmond, Blacksburg, Newport News and Maryland.
Robotics is an afternoon activity, part of the school’s co-curricular program, that is an extension of the school’s Creativity, Research and Entrepreneurship Program, reported Jennifer Homer. The robotics team works each afternoon in the school’s Makerspace.
The co-curricular program includes traditional athletics, robotics, performing arts, outdoor and nature-oriented programs, Model UN and student leadership.
