KILMARNOCK—Constance Eanes “Connie” George, 59, of Kilmarnock passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2023. She worked in the billing department at Rappahannock General Hospital for 27 years.
She is survived by her son, Lewis Wayne George, Jr. (Teri); grandsons, Ethan Haskiell and Jaden George; sister, Cheryl Dunaway; niece, Tiffany Kesner (Will); great nieces, Adrianna Eanes, Kandace Kesner and Sophia Kesner.
She was preceded in death by her fiancé, Robert “Bobby” Harper; mother, Norma Louise Douglas Eanes; father, Roy Eanes; and sister, Lori Eanes.
Connie devoted 10 years volunteering her time to organize, manage and work the food stand at the Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department’s annual carnival. She also volunteered her time to multiple other organizations within the community over the years.
Connie will be missed dearly by her friends and family.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 24, at White Stone United Methodist Church.
