Election calendar adjustments are forthcoming in White Stone

WHITE STONE—To comply with a new state law requiring all municipal elections be held in November, the White Stone Town Council will have to adjust related ordinances, according to town manager Patrick Frere.

In February, the Virginia General Assembly passed a bill to move all town elections still being held in May to November. Proponents said the move would bolster voter participation. The move will take effect….
