WHITE STONE—A proposed noise ordinance is a little unrealistic according to a majority of the White Stone Town Council, which decided last Thursday to hold a work session on the policy at 6 p.m. tonight, October 8, at the Town Hall, 433 Rappahannock Drive.
Council first reviewed the current noise ordinance in August after Police Chief Cliff Dawson had received several complaints related to one business in town. Town attorney Matson Terry was tasked with reviewing the ordinance and told council in September that the current policy is unenforceable because of its broad language and lack of “a bright-line definition.”
