‘Countdown to Christmas’ Saturday at Town Centre Park

The Town of Kilmarnock will “Countdown to Christmas” at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, November 25, at Kilmarnock Town Centre Park, 150 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.

“I am super excited to invite the entire community to come and join us. It is sure to be a long-lasting tradition being started for our town” said mayor Mae Umphlett.

“Countdown to Christmas” will feature caroling, cookies and cocoa by Campbell Memorial Presbyterian and Friends from Weems, recognition of the donors and banners presented in Steptoe’s District, followed by the lighting of the town’s official Christmas tree. Santa will be there to help introduce this new tradition and start the countdown to the lighting of the tree.

Parking is on site and at the Lancaster Community Library. This event is free to the public. Dress warmly, bring a chair and no dogs.
