Countdown to Christmas

Kilmarnock’s public works staff illuminated the town’s official Christmas tree Saturday and Santa arrived by trolley (above) to greet the children during the first Countdown to Christmas event at the Kilmarnock Town Centre Park. Approximately 300 people were in attendance as vice mayor Rebecca Nunn also read the names of those who have donated banners in honor or memory of loved ones. The banners are displayed throughout the town.
