Craving Beethoven? NNO offers remedy

Northern Neck Orchestra music director Michael Repper will conduct Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in the orchestra’s first concert of the 2023-24 season on Sunday, October 15, at the Northumberland High School Theater, 201 Academic Lane, Heathsville. The concert will begin at 3 p.m. and will be preceded by a pre-concert talk at 2:15 p.m.

The performance also features Benjamin Britten’s Simple Symphony and Jessie Montgomery’s Rounds for Strings and Piano.

Tickets are $40. Tickets for all four performances in the 2023-2024 season are $128, including a special holiday concert on December 16 in Kilmarnock. Students are free. Tickets may be purchased at the door or www.northernneckorchestra.org.
