WHITE STONE—Cynthia Jaffray Birdsall, 92, of White Stone died July 23, 2023.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 66 years, Franklin T. Birdsall Jr.; her sons, Robert and William; her daughters, Elizabeth, Carolyn and Rebecca; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Cynthia was born July 22, 1931, in New York and grew up in Panama. She married her first husband at 18 and had two sons. Subsequently as a single mother, she moved back to Panama where she worked for the government.
She met her husband, Frank, who was on a sailing trip in Panama. They had three daughters; she was an amazing mother to her five children. They lived in Kentfield, Calif., Cedarburg, Wis., and then moved to White Stone.
Cynthia’s love of bridge enabled her to become a Life Master. She loved to read, socialize and entertain; she was always the bright life of the party.
She enjoyed watching her soaps and driving in a golf cart around their beautiful property. Her vibrant smile brightened up every room she entered; her kindness and generosity opened all of our hearts. She truly loved life and all her family. She was greatly loved, and will be deeply missed by all.
A memorial will be held later in the year.
