KILMARNOCK—David Allen Ashburn, 43, of Kilmarnock passed away November 9, 2021.
He was a Walmart employee.
David was a lifetime member of Upper Lancaster Volunteer Rescue Squad and a driver for numerous squads. He was a friend to everybody and very dedicated to his community.
He is survived by his partner, Andre R. Renaud; brother, Jeffrey Rodgers; niece, Virginia Renee Foster of Weems; and godmother, Madge Kellum.
He was predeceased by his mother, Joyce D. Ashburn; his father, Ollie B. Ashburn; and grandparents, Carl and Frances Dunn.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 20, at Claybrook Baptist Church Cemetery, Weems, followed by a celebration of life at the Upper Lancaster Volunteer Rescue Squad, Lively.
Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
