FARNHAM—David Frank “Dave” Hinkins of Farnham passed on July 14, 2025, at 3:23 a.m. on his 83rd birthday.
Born July 14, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, Dave was a graduate of Devry University. He worked as a District Sales Manager for Mitutoyo for over 25 years. In Virginia he was a member of ARES, Cert, RARA, USPS and the U.S. Coast Guard.
Dave is survived by his beloved wife, Mary-Jane; his two boys, Eric and David; two step-children, Arianna Dawn Starbuck and Nathanial Glen Starbuck; and his sister, Lois Stilber. He also leaves behind five step grandchildren, Tyler, Joclyn, Gavin, Austin and Caylei. He will be greatly missed by his loyal companion, Luna Tick.
There will be a service and celebration of life at 1 p.m. August 2, at Currie Funeral Home in Kilmarnock, followed by a light dinner at their home.
