REEDVILLE—David H. Scheig, 65, of Reedville died peacefully in his sleep on November 12, 2022.
Dave was a professional drummer in his 20s and played with several bands, mostly in the D.C. area. Dave was also a painter and ran a successful painting business in Reedville. He was kind, generous, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Dave was deeply devoted to his family and friends.
Dave was preceded in death by his father, William A. Scheig and mother, Sue H. Scheig.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Annette L. Scheig; son, Derek Michael Pessagno (Jaclyn); daughter, Kelly Ann Pessagno; grandson, Robert David Pessagno; brother, Bill Scheig (Katharine); niece, Erika Krimm; nephew, David Scheig; and their families.
Interment will be private and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northumberland Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 603, Burgess, VA 22432.
