WHITE STONE—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold two design public hearings in October to share information and receive comments on the proposed design for the replacement Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge extending over the Rappahannock River between Lancaster and Middlesex counties.
The in-person meetings will be held in an open house format, reported VDOT Fredericksburg District communications manager Kelly Hannon. The public is invited to stop by to review displays and materials, offer comment and discuss questions with project representatives.
Hearings will be held from 5-7 p.m. October 21 at Lancaster High School, 100 Visionary Way, Irvington, and October 22 at St. Clare Walker Middle School, 6814 General Puller Highway, Locust Hill.
