Devils rack-up yards, but fall short on points

After three weeks of less than 100 yards of offense, the Red Devils ended the season with a 337-yard effort.

Northumberland beat the Devils, 53-20, in the final regular season game for both teams. Region A’s third-ranked Indians will move up to postseason action and face sixth-ranked Rappahannock in the first round. Lancaster missed the top eight cut this year despite a much-improved season over last year. The 1-9 record aside, enthusiasm and participation were up, Lancaster was never shut out and scoring was more consistent.

Quarterback Daveon Smith put up the big numbers for LHS on Friday….
