WHITE STONE—Diana Lynn C. Rose passed away Friday, March 27, 2020, at her home in White Stone. She was a much loved mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was lovingly cared for by her family and Hospice of Virginia.
Diana was born in Richmond on December 27, 1967. She was only 52 years old. She was the daughter of the late George W. Crenshaw Jr.
Surviving are her mother, Patricia P. Crenshaw; sons, Chandler Jacob Rose and William Grover Rose III; sister, Lisa Carol Haase; brother, David Bryant Crenshaw; niece, Olivia Grace Haase; nephews, Evan Maxwell Hasse and Dustin Whay Crenshaw; aunts, Sylvia P. Chartier, Brenda B. Ferrell (Jerry) and Joan C. Cousins (Bobby).
Diana was a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. She received a bachelor’s in journalism. Expressing the things of life in writing was her pleasure. She also received a degree in medical coding and billing from ECPI. She used this knowledge in her employment with Richmond Pediatrics and continued this working from home online.
Diana enjoyed cooking, reading and taking care of Will and Chandler. Being a mother was her greatest joy. Her long illness was draining and debilitating but she kept trying every day to see it through. Diana will truly be missed.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Autism Speaks, www.autismspeaks.org.
In the future when virus and travel restrictions are lifted a memorial service will be determined.
