Discounted admission ends Aug. 17 for Irvington Crab Festival

The Steamboat Era Museum is getting ready to celebrate the 12th annual Irvington Crab Festival from 4-8 p.m. September 16. The festival is held in the Carousel Physical Therapy tent on the Irvington Town Commons, 98 King Carter Drive, Irvington.

The crab festival is the museum’s largest fundraising event of the year, said executive director Steve Humphrey.

The $60 early crab discounted admission includes all-you-can-eat steamed crabs, barbecue, hot dogs and soft drinks. Crabs will be served starting at 5 p.m. All other food and beverages will be available at 4 p.m. Beer and wine will be available for….
