The 2019 Dog Gone Dog Show, sponsored by the Animal Welfare League of the Northern Neck, was held April 20 at the Irvington Commons.

• Best trick, Louis, Gerad Preston.
• Best smoocher, Dice, Northumberland Shelter.
• Musical sit (two winners), October, Natalie Dansey; and Ronan, Brigid Price.
• Best brace, Luna and Leo, Kathleen Conroy.
• All-American mutt, Blue, Charlene Talcott.
• Best fetching/retrieving, Jax, Robert Makuldwich.
• Best costume, Myla, Barbara Macin.
