LANCASTER—Rob Pittman, president of the board of directors for Dream Chasers United (DCU), shared a broad vision of how “an existing public asset could become a community engine” when speaking of plans for the former Lancaster High School facilities.
Pittman told supervisors on Thursday, October 29, that the group’s vision is to transform part of the building and surrounding land into a “community campus for sports, arts, education, wellness, service and community. We want this to be an inclusive campus where people can come to compete, create, learn, lead, recover, connect and have a sense of belonging,” he said.
