Early voting begins Friday

KILMARNOCK—Although the General Election is more than a month away, early voting will begin statewide on Friday, September 22.

Lancaster County voter registrar Susan P. Jett recently posted a schedule of related dates. On Election Day, November 7, the polls will be open from 6 a.m.-7 p.m.

Meanwhile, in-person early voting will be held from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, as well as October 28 and November 4, at the Voter Registration Office, 8211 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster. The phone number is 462-5277. Identification is required.

Voters also may vote by mail, with no excuse required. Voters may request a mail-in ballot by submitting an absentee ballot application form. To download a form or apply online, visit….
