IRVINGTON—Edna M. Forshaw, 99 of Irvington departed this life November 12, 2024.
Edna was born in Southport, England, on May 25, 1925. She and her husband, Joe, immigrated to the U.S. in 1948 on the RMS Queen Mary.
Edna was a member of Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club where she enjoyed golf. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed many years living on the bay.
Edna is survived by her sons, Raymond Forshaw, and Scott Forshaw and wife, Tamera; and grandson, Tyler Forshaw.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Forshaw; grandson, Joel Forshaw; sister, Kathleen Templeman; and brothers Ted McCandlish and John McCandlish.
A private memorial service was held on Friday, November 15, at Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury in Irvington.
Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
