The Lancaster County Virginia Education Foundation on May 5 sponsored the Celebration of Excellence banquet at Lancaster High School. Several students at each grade level were recognized.
Rev. Kim Bunns served as the keynote speaker, reported Jamilah Sawyer. The River Market in White Stone catered the event. Principal Tara Booth helped greatly to make this happen while following COVID-19 guidelines.
Each student received a certificate and a $50 bill, said Sawyer.
