KILMARNOCK—Elizabeth Anita Robertson of Kilmarnock passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, at the age of 87 with her son, Chris, and daughter-in-law, Karen, by her side. She was born on June 16, 1938, to Elizabeth Hart and Paul Birch in Annapolis, Maryland.
Elizabeth married Louis Michael Robertson on October 25, 1958, and together they had four children and shared 49 years together until his death in 2007.
Anita enjoyed gardening and was known for selflessly helping others. She was stubborn and tough with a great sense of humor.
She is survived by her children, Jeff (Mary), Chris (Karen), Bryan (Susan) and Lisa (Jack).
A private burial will be held. The family would like to thank Riverside Hospice for their guidance, and her private aide, Michelle Waller, who worked tirelessly seven days a week keeping her clean and fed, healing issues we were told would never heal. She was our right hand and our saving grace.
