KING GEORGE—Elsie Magdaline Jordan died April 21, 2018, at The Heritage Hall Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in King George.
She was born September 3, 1934, to the late Lewis and Rebecca Jordan.
Elsie was a member of Little Ark Baptist Church, Owens. She was employed at the National Institute of Health in Washington, D.C., for over 20 years and later worked at the Dahlgren Deli for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eugene Jordan, Thomas Jordan and minister Leroy Jordan; and sisters, Mary Crawley and Jacquelin Jordan.
Elsie is survived by her children, Craig Jordan of King George, Kenneth Jordan of Woodbridge, Darlene Stepney of King George, Troy Jordan of Las Vegas, Nev., and Tina Jordan of King George; grandchildren, LaShanda, Brandon, Norman, Craig Jr., Melina, Kenneth Jr., Lia and Brianna; great-grandchildren, Dominique, Kylee, Gabriel, Charlotte, Ava, Demiyah, Isreal and Tristan; siblings, Edward Jordan of Capitol Heights, Md., Mae Bland of Spotsylvania, Joann Smith-Brooks and Judy Pryor, both of King George.
A funeral was held Saturday, April 28, at Little Ark Baptist Church, Owens. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
