MERRY POINT—Emilie Louise “May” King of Merry Point died on August 13, 2026.
She was born in Fargo, North Dakota, on May 18, 1948, the youngest of four children.
Emilie was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. King.
She is survived by her daughter, Dena Marie Bohannon; three stepsons, Erik King, Adam King and Todd King; three grandchildren, Brandon G. Bohannon, Justin R. Bohannon and Taylor M. Bohannon; a step-grandson, Logan King; and great-grandchild Owen Reid Bohannon.
Emilie was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Kilmarnock. She was in the choir and a member of the Women of St. Francis.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 21, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
