Essex continues gridiron romp

Essex High School continued its dominance in Northern Neck District varsity football on Friday, October 21, beating Lancaster, 68-18, for its third straight 60-plus points game in as many weeks.

The Trojans have outscored district opponents, 195-36, over the last three weeks. They opened district play with a 61-6 win over Northumberland then defeated Colonial Beach, 66-12. With the win over LHS, Essex improved to 8-0 and are in first place in Region 1A standings.
