KING GEORGE—Ethelene L. Smith of King George passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020. She was born July 3, 1957, to the late Durvell Smith Sr. and Catherine Baylor Smith of King George. She was raised by the late William and Elizabeth Smith in Ruther Glen.
She attended public schools in Ladysmith. She worked in management positions at Best Products, Circuit City, and Comcast.
She also was preceded in death by sisters, Faith Young and Veronica Burrus; and brother, Larry D. Smith.
She is survived by her daughter, Tia Smith, sisters, Carolyn Bland of Dahlgren, Brenda Walker of Adelphi, Md., Debra Smith of King George, Cathy Anderson of Richmond and Tamala Brent of Clinton, Md.; brothers, Durvell Smith Jr. of Ravena, N.Y., and William Smith of King George.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 28, at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, King George, with Rev. Leonard Bland officiating.
