WHITE STONE—Route 3 travelers crossing the Rappahannock River between Lancaster and Middlesex counties can expect daytime delays at the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge during October to allow crews to perform a routine, scheduled bridge inspection.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane on the Norris Bridge from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. starting Monday, October 5, reported Virginia Department of Transportation public affairs manager Kelly Hannon. Inspection crews will work on weekdays for four consecutive weeks, through October 30, weather permitting.
