The members of Fairport Baptist Church, 2395 Fairport Road, Reedville, recently welcomed new pastor David Schneider. He takes over the role of former pastor Neale Schools, who faithfully served the church for over 22 years and retired this past year.
Schneider is a graduate of Liberty University with a major in child and adolescent behavior. He brings considerable experience working in numerous Christian ministries and other much-needed roles within the Northern Neck area, as director of the youth outreach and family services for the YMCA for Central Virginia, a special education teacher in both in Westmoreland and King George counties, and as a youth pastor for several Northern Neck area churches.
