Family and friends from far and near gathered Saturday, October 21, to help Mrs. Mary K. Dolby celebrate her 100th birthday at the Masonic Lodge in Kilmarnock.
The occasion was celebrated in elegant decor of purple, silver and white and catered by Tracy Lee, reported Rosetta Pitts. Music was provided by DJ Kevin Grimes, a cake by Janice Smith and photo coverage by Tracy Taylor.
The event was orchestrated by master of ceremonies Calvin Dolby with prayer by minister Angela Morris and a welcome address by Pitts. There were musical selections by Phyllis Smith and Gwen Dobyns and a praise dance by Aaliyah Davis. The blessing for the meal was by John Lewis Sr.
