Riverside Tappahannock Hospital (RTH) leadership recently welcomed Richard A. Farmar III, as its newly appointed board chairman.
Farmar has served in several leadership roles in the community. He will lead the hospital board as it gets ready to implement health care strategies for the future, which follows a year-long strategic planning process for the hospital.
“We appreciate the long history that Rick Farmar has serving the community and we value his insights as we shape the future of health care services for the community,” said vice president and administrator Liz Martin. “We are blessed with so many volunteers on our board who help us carry out our mission for the community and this is definitely an exciting time for us.”
