The Heathsville Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, October 20, at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville. The market offers produce, meat, eggs, bread, gourmet peanuts and handcrafts.
Special events on Saturday will include a “Blessing of the Animals” at 10 a.m., pumpkin decorating, the Northumberland Public Library Tech Mobile and a living history encampment. The Lancaster County Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy, will have a display booth.
