The White Stone Baptist Food Pantry (WSBFP) has received a $2,000 grant from The Diocese of Arlington, Catholic Relief Services. This grant is named “Rice Bowl” and is designed to alleviate hunger and food insecurity in each Catholic Diocese nationwide.
The diocese has been awarding grants to WSBFP for 11 years, but this grant is the most WSBFP has received in a single year, reported WSBFP director Sue Donaldson. All the funds will be used for the purchase of food for distribution to the 120 families that receive food monthly from the pantry.
