FREDERICKSBURG—Several state-maintained roads in the Fredericksburg District have reopened following heavy rain and flooding on Friday, June 11, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
However, four roads remain closed as crews continue to assess the extent of the repairs required to reopen the roads, reported Fredericksburg District senior communications specialist Darragh Frye. VDOT will announce additional details once more is known about the extent of the work and develop a repair timeline for the road closures.
