Franklin T. Beauchamp

CALLAO—Franklin Thomas Beauchamp, 82, of Callao passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

He was the son of the late William Jennings Beauchamp and Elsie Veith Beauchamp. Frank was born in Mundy Point and at the age of three, he moved with his family to Baltimore, Maryland, where he grew up.

After serving in the Army, he decided to move back to Callao. Frank retired from Whitehurst Paving Company in Richmond, after 41 years. After retiring, he decided to begin his hobby crabbing and he had a true passion for it.

Frank is survived by his beloved, wife Margaret Reynolds Beauchamp; his son, Kenneth Beauchamp (Misty) of Callao; grandchildren, Brandy Mozingo (David) and Katie Meany (Michael); great-grandchildren, Christopher, Annabelle and Makayla; brother, Howard Beauchamp; sister, Corinne Beauchamp; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents; brothers, William and James Beauchamp; and sisters, Elizabeth Landman and Katherine Ashburn.

A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 14, at Henderson United Methodist Church with pastor Han Yi officiating. Burial followed in the Henderson United Methodist Church Cemetery.
