A nod to the past with a modern twist
Garden Variety String Band (GVSB) from Richmond will be featured at Music by the River from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at Belle Isle State Park, 1632 Belle Isle Road, Lancaster. The five-piece band includes Austin Walsh on banjo, Wyatt Peake on fiddle, Charlie Rosser on guitar and vocals, Stephen Weinstock on bass and DJ Roller on mandolin. Inspired by old time, folk and bluegrass, GVSB performances are a nod to the past with a modern twist. A $5 parking fee is payable at the park entrance.
