GEO Products changes hands

Jackie and Robin Barrack can now relax and travel, confidently knowing the business they nurtured for more than three decades is in good hands.

The Barracks, who founded what grew into GEO Products in 1992 in Alfonso, recently sold the company to Floridians Garison Clemens and his financial partner Bryan Mullin.

Clemens, who is hands on and now lives in Irvington, has a background in real estate development and finance. He and Mullin began the hunt for a business to purchase about a year and a half ago and entered into discussions with the Barracks in April 2024. Fast forward three months and the sale was a done deal.

“Everything here started to materialize really quickly,” said Clemens, who took ownership July 31.

GEO Products, at 161 Technology Park Drive, Kilmarnock, evolved in the early 1990s when the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act had every waterfront owner in need of silt fencing for….
