HEATHSVILLE—George E. “Sonny” Vermilyea, 69, of Heathsville passed away February 6, 2020.
He is survived by his sisters, Frances V. Treakle (Billy) and Mary Gail Davis; brothers, James M. Davis (Beverly) and David Wayne Davis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Vermilyea; parents, parents, Oscar E. Vermilyea and Mary G. Davis; brother, Clifton Davis Jr.; and his grandparents, Dosie and Collin George.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 12, at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment took place at Roseland Cemetery, Reedville following the service.
Family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, at the funeral home.
