LANCASTER—Gerard Foley, 69, of Lancaster passed away on January 15, 2018. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Foley; two daughters, Amanda Foley and Joan Charnick; one granddaughter, Mary Alexis Lewis (Justin); two great-grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Foley; brother, Michael Foley (Nancy); sister-in-law, Colleen Foley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Vincent and John Foley.
Mr. Foley was a retired postmaster for the Kilmarnock post office having worked for the postal service for 30 years. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Golden Eagle Golf Club and a member of the Marine Corps League.
A graveside service at Quantico National Cemetery will be held at a later date. There also will be a memorial service in the spring.
