KILMARNOCK—Gilbert Allen Harrison, 55, of Kilmarnock died on August 1, 2021.
He was a retired part owner of Big L Tire Company, an avid Washington Redskins fan and fisherman. Allen was a loving son, father, grandfather and brother.
Surviving are a daughter, Katie Keyser (Tyler) of Reedville; sons, Daniel Harrison (Samantha) of Heathsville and Philip Harrison (Laura) of Callao; a granddaughter, Avery Keyser; mother, Anna Harrison of Kilmarnock; sisters, Karen Harrison of Kilmarnock, Sharon Harrison of Richmond and Kay Harrison of Aylett; a brother, Eric Harrison (Michelle) of Tucson, Arizona; several nieces and a nephew. Also surviving are Janet Scripture Harrison of White Stone and Lisa Newsome of Reedville.
Allen was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Harrison.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 6, at the Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment will be in White Stone United Methodist Cemetery, White Stone.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 5, at the funeral home.
