FARNHAM—Gladys Romain Burrell of Farnham died Friday, January 1, 2021.
She was born to the late Lloyds S. Burrell Sr. and Flossie Veney Burrell on October 13, 1938.
She was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church in Farnham and a graduate of Richmond County High School. She was employed by the Virginia Elastic Plant in Tappahannock.
Mrs. Burrell was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lloyd Burrell Jr. and Jake Ball Sr.; and two grandchildren, Deniece and Jerre.
She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Burrell of Washington, D.C.; a son, Boyd Burrell of Farnham; grandchildren, Shanna of Dallas, Texas; Chasity (Dennis) of Wesley Chapel, Fla., Laketa, of Washington, LaTonja of Washington, Taryn of Petersburg, and Earl of New Orleans, La; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held January 8 at Mulberry Baptist Church Cemetery, Farnham.
