
KILMARNOCK—Gloria Louisa Raynor, 77, of Kilmarnock went to be the Lord on Saturday, August 2, 2025. She was born on October 14, 1947, in the Philippines.
Gloria worked for many businesses in the Northern Neck where she made many lifetime friendships. She worked at the Galley Restaurant in Callao, was an employee at Lively Supermarket, she worked at The Shoe Store in Kilmarnock and most recently had been working as hostess at the Sandpiper Restaurant in White Stone.
She was a local Cub Scout Den Leader, Sunday school teacher, and was proud to have been appointed by the governor in 1971 to be the official greeter for Future Asians for this area.
Gloria is survived by a son, Anthony Raynor of Blacksburg; and her close friend, Ted Raynor of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Raynor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 8, at Currie Funeral Home in Kilmarnock. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, August 7, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Bethel United Methodist Church in Lancaster.
