Golden Eagle to host pro am golf tourney

The second William G. Thomas Community Pro Am Tournament of the Northern Neck of Virginia will be held October 5 at the Golden Eagle Golf Course in Irvington.

Area golfers are offered a select opportunity to play alongside professionals, according to Don Nelson, PGA golf pro at Golden Eagle.

The tournament is sponsored by Dominion Energy.

PGA and Mid Atlantic professionals will play with amateurs in a shotgun start…
