Golden Eagles lead golf league standings

The Northern Neck’s PGA Junior Golf League is nearing the end of its inaugural season.

The Golden Eagles lead the standings after four of the season’s six matches with 35.5 points, according to Chip Sullivan, PGA head professional at King Carter Golf Club. The King Carter Ospreys are second with 32.5 points, Piankatank River Wave third with 6.5 points and Hobbs Hole Stars fourth with 5.5 points.

Sullivan started the PGA Junior Golf League locally and has been a part of the PGA Jr. League for seven years. Participating courses in the Northern Neck league are Hobbs Hole Golf Course in Tappahannock, Piankatank River Golf Course in Hartfield, Golden Eagle Golf Club in Irvington and King Carter Golf Club in Irvington…
