Governor’s School students present research

Students from the Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School (CBGS) recently attended the 27th Virginia Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) at James Madison University (JMU).

The JSHS brings together selected high school student scientists to present the findings of their independent research at a regional symposium where they are judged by no less than three experts in their field, reported James Bean of the marine and environmental science department.

Additional JSHS sponsors are the College of Mathematics and Science and the Office of Sponsored Programs at JMU and the regional director is Dr. Thomas DeVore.
