According to papers filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Randal R. Greene on February 9 notified Blue Ridge Bankshares Inc. and Blue Ridge Bank, N.A., of his resignation as president and chief operating officer of Blue Ridge Bankshares, as president and chief executive officer of Blue Ridge Bank, and as director of both.
A merger between Blue Ridge Bankshares and Bay Banks of Virginia, bank holding company of Virginia Commonwealth Bank, was completed in January. Greene previously had been vice chairman, president and chief executive officer of Bay Banks of Virginia, chief executive officer and vice chairman of Virginia Commonwealth Bank, and chairman of VCB Financial Group-Trust and Wealth Management.
