The Bay Center for Spiritual Development, 31 Noblett Lane, Kilmarnock, will host a 10-week grief support series beginning Tuesday, August 1. The group will meet from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Bay Center.
The first meeting will include an informational session, said director Carol Burke. This group allows participants to explore, within a “trusting, nurturing and confidential environment,” their reactions to loss, learn about the grieving process, develop strategies for coping and begin to integrate this change into their lives in order to move forward.
This support group series, the third of four offered in 2017, will be led by Sally Edwards and Lee Archard, both counselors in private practice with the help and assistance of Karen Woodruff and Hal White, both retired clergy.
