
BROWARD COUNTY, FL—Heather Hudson White, born August 6, 1952, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2022, in Broward County, Fla.
Heather was predeceased by her father, Charles R. Hudson Sr. of White Stone.
Surviving family members include her mother, Lillian Hudson of White Stone and Chesapeake; a brother, Craig and his wife, Christine, of Key Largo, Fla.; a brother, Charles R. Hudson Jr. and his wife, Lynne, of Chesapeake; a niece, Lisa (Scott) Lotts and family of Boca Raton, Fla.; and a nephew, Cameron (Charlotte) Hudson and family of Durham, N.C.
Heather grew up in Alexandria and graduated from Fort Hunt High School in 1970. She later attended St. Leo College in Virginia Beach and received a bachelor’s in social sciences.
Her first employment was with the General Services Administration in Norfolk. After a move to Sunrise, Fla., she worked for the U.S. Customs Service for several years. She retired early from work for health reasons; but resided in Sunrise until her death.
Her burial will be at Christ Church cemetery in Weems at 3 p.m. on April 5. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to a charity of choice.
