The Heathsville Farmers Market, part of the “Make it a Heathsville Saturday” community initiative, will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. August 20 at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.
The market offers produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, fancy peanuts, barbecue sauce, canned jellies, pickles, plants, flowers, roasted coffee and handcrafts.
Over 50 vendors have signed up to attend, said Rice’s Hotel Hughlett’s Tavern Foundation executive director Corinne Becker. There are new vendors at every market.
At Water’s Edge, a five-piece ensemble, will play jazz, rhythm and blues and a little country….
