LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Department of Social Services (LCDSS) has a new director following the retirement of Edna Davenport. However, Dr. Claudette Henderson is not new to Lancaster County or the Northern Neck.
Dr. Henderson began her career in human services as director of Richmond County Department of Social Services (RCDSS) in March 2006 and served until February 2014. While in this leadership role, RCDSS was tapped to participate in the Court Improvement Program for the 15th District Court, and the Fatherhood Initiative.
