NORTHERN NECK—Morrattico Baptist Church (MBC) will sponsor a Historic Baptist Church Tour on September 23. Some 14 churches throughout Northumberland and Lancaster counties will be featured on the tour.
Organized in 1778, MBC is deemed the mother Baptist church of the area. All of the other churches included in the self-guided tour have spawned from Morattico Baptist.
